No holes or stains , the chaise lounge cushion has a couple rust marks from the back of the chair but as you can see this doesnt hinder the beauty of this set! All 4 chairs along together make the sofa, but can be situated differently.

We have this stored inside, was very well taken care of. This furniture is all solid, beautifully designed. The table makes a great addition to it, and the very cool shell shaped chair is so cute! Just imagine this set on your porch, patio, sun room, etc..
