This is a breathtaking and outstanding Antique Vintage Mid Century Modern Abstract Hard Edge Op Art Painting, acrylic on canvas, approximately dating to the 1960's - 1970's. This work depicts a geometric abstraction of intertwined concentric swirls of banded colors, boldly interfaced upon a light gray field. This painting is enormous, approximately 48 1/2 x 48 1/2 inches including frame.

Signed illegibly in the lower right corner. Perhaps you recognize the artist or their work? It is also incredibly heavy at over 80 lbs.

This work is mounted in a heavy-duty modernist aluminum frame with a solid wood backing. It has two grommets on the top for hanging, presumably with a metal chain or reinforced steel wires. This artwork could command attention from a block away and is without a doubt the best and most substantial Op Art painting I have ever had the privilege to offer for sale. Good condition for age, with a few small spots of soiling, light scuffing to the edges and some minor nicks and scratches to the original period aluminum frame please see photos.
