Vintage 1950s Lightolier Adjustable Floor Stand Lamp by Gerald Thurston Orange Mid Century Modern. Here is the story on this cool lamp. One of the lamps was knocked off and the wires severed on that lamp. You can see in the photos I butt spliced some new section of wire and heat shrinked the wires.

I re-tapped the screw holes for the lamp to the chrome post holder and put in new screws and glued them as well. I can't guarantee the repair. Its been working fine for me since I repaired it a couple weeks ago. There is also an old repair from the previous owner on the same lower light that I fixed. They put some soft washers on the side that hold the orange cone on.

There are some chips in the orange paint and scratches in the black paint on the pole from over the years. So, if you want one of the most popular designer MOD lamps straight from the Mid Century Modern era in the most desired orange color, this is for you. I've knocked the price way down since I had to repair it. It stands 58-1/2" tall and the width is 21" wide but that is adjustable.
