Vintage Architectural Pottery Double Cone Pot Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Architectural Pottery double cone pot. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This white planter stands approximately 20 3/8 inches tall.

The upper rim has a diameter of about 10 3/4 inches. Unpacked, this sculptural piece weighs 14 pounds 14.1 ounces. It would look fantastic in a mid-century modern garden setting. Identification This vintage pot was designed by LaGardo Tackett for Architectural Pottery. It is marked beneath, as shown.

Condition The pot looks good overall, with light wear. To the lower section, there is a crack, as shown. On the glazed exterior, this is visible for about 6 inches before it peters out; on the unglazed interior, it is visible as a stained crack that is about 7 inches long. On the exterior, there is some glaze flaking along this crack. There are some tiny fleabite flakes to the edges of the drainage hole that is present in between the two cone sections.

There is darkened crazing to the interior of the upper cone section. The pot is clean overall, with no hard water residue to the glazed areas.

The unglazed underside of the bottom cone section has some soiling. A few pinprick glaze bubbles are as made. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made. And international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
