VINTAGE Mid Century Modern Architectural Panels

  
Mid Century Modern Architectural Panels can be fastened together side by side, top and bottom, and 90°. The joining holes are between each of the two protrusions to make a seamless design as they are joined together in configuration. They were salvaged from a very high end diamond jeweler's ceiling and wall that had opened in 1962. They measure 1'x2'x3/4. The last pic is 5 panels on the wood table. I have used them to construct a room divider. They look spectacular with a dark wood frame or background! They can also be mounted to a wall to add texture. They actually look great on any application. I recently built a room divider for a client and spray painted it gold. I was not sure at first how they would look but it turned out fantastic! They actually looked like they were cast in brass.

They can also be painted. I have also used them to front furniture. I was told they were made by Gucci or some other high end manufacture (cannot remember) but there are no markings and they are constructed out of what appears to be PVC.

I have owned them for about 20 years. Some are dirty some are clean. I have received several emails about the fasteners so I posted a pic of one or the original ones.

I have found that the new "Mechanical Fasteners" are much more low profile and come in a variety of finishes. Again, all available at your local hardware store.
