Vintage Mid Century Modern Surrealist Abstract Painting Under Glass. A fascinating vintage original work of art mixed media Under glass Surrealist Abstraction, an abstract Expressionist painting framed exquisitely with a rich gallery mat indicating that this is an important work of art from the 1950's or 1960's Mid century era. On paper with flaming abstract brushstrokes sky blue center in a vortex with 3d vanishing points. The artwork over the years has moved naturally within the frame and there appears to be some writing below the matt a possible signature. I don't want to take anything out and disturb the artwork to find the signature.

The gilt gold wood frame has some scratches and minor chips consistent with age. The artwork is in fine preserved condition Under the glass.
