Vintage lounge chair by Thonet, c1950's. Uncommon design features a tall angled back seat, bentwood arms and legs in birch, and nail-head trim to back edges. In original pastel aqua textured vinyl. The frame shows wear due to age and use but is structurally solid and sturdy. Noted one small chip to corner of back leg and very tiny slit in the vinyl toward top of back rest, neither is terribly noticeable or distracting. Original tag from Grosse Pointe hospital remains on back leg, removable if desired.
