Vintage Reglor Harlequin Lamp Pair Pink Mid Century 1950s Chalkware Retro Kitsch
Ultra Fabulous pair of iconic Harlequin lamps by Reglor of California, dated 1951. Lamps are painted in Reglors classic 2 toned style in an exciting shade of coral pink contrasted with warm grey. The chalkware lamps have no chips or cracks.
The shades fabric is a lighter and warmer grey tone than the grey on the lamp. Shades are in great condition, but show minor fading on trim, with one shade having two small spots/stains towards the backside, please see pics, they are barely noticeable. Cord is vintage however both lamps have new sockets and harps.
The paint on these lamps has been restored by me. I have restored a number of Reglor lamps in my collection and take great care to recreate the authentic Reglor studio fresh look. I personally color match all the paint, as close as possible to original Reglor colors. The entire lamp is airbrushed and then I hand paint the skin tone, feathering the paint throughout to minimize... If not completely eliminate brush strokes.I guess what I'm trying to say is I just don't slap some paint on them and call it a day.... It is also worth noting that pre restoration there was no breaks or cracks to the lamps, only a couple shallow chips.
Lamps stands 35.5 tall to the top of the finial. Each figure stands 22 tall. The widest point of the base is 11.Finials are 3.5 tall. Shades are 22.5" wide x 10" tall. These lamps have been in my collection for years and they are stunning and impactful in person!
