Vintage Retro 70s Mid Century Modern Adri Belgique Chrome Tiled Coffee Table. Iconic 1970s ceramic topped coffee table on chrome legs, designed by Juliette Belarti for Adri, Belgium. The glazed tiles feature a fantastic abstract'drip' pattern in ochre with off-white edge and highlight shapes in orange, vivid turquoise and green on a deep petrol blue background. The graphic and vibrant abstract decoration makes a bold and memorable statement. The chrome frame borders the tiled top which sits on two sturdy tubular legs, joined by a low rectangular stretcher and finished with splayed triangular feet. The chrome feet have a teak infill. The table is in overall excellent vintage condition.
One tile is cracked but this is generally not noticeable and looks much worse in the close up photograph. There is some minor pitting to the chrome.
One plastic stub is missing from the table leg, doesn't cause any wobble and may be easy enough to find a replacement. Table comes from a house clearance. Was kept in storage, has been pictured by us outside the house and is now back in our own storage. Can't find any others on the market at the moment but still as always we're open to sensible offers especially on cash collections.
