WITCO World Globe map Original Vintage Mid Century William Westenhaver Art. Witco World; Created by Mid-Century Americas premier art and furniture production company WITCO. This is the most iconic piece of art Witco ever produced, featured in Sven Kirstens seminal Tiki Pop book, this piece has been appropriated and inspired countless imitations many times over the past few years. Were offering an original Witco World, the ultimate for any collector. It measures 33" high and is 63" long.

It has a frame that is set in an outer frame. It is in very good condition commensurate with its age, with just a couple small spots on the Osnaburg fabric part. Mostly some white variants of discolorations on the off white canvas-like fabric my guess maybe where they tried to clean a spot on this fabric that is about 60 years old or so.

You could probably have it tuned up by a crafty person. But then again you will not notice if it is up on the wall. It is a perfect center piece for Mid Century, Tiki, funky, groovy pad or just any place that needs an amazing centerpiece.

Just for fun I have mocked up a picture with the piece in a mid-century setting. We will pack it up as well as we can with bubblewrap, reinforce the corners in a new sturdy carton.
